Day 1: Pick up and drive to Murchison Falls Park, via Nakasongola rolling hills 

Pick up from Kampala, your guide will be waiting for you to embark on this long day trip to Murchison Falls national park, arguably the largest park in the country and the most beautiful as it overlooks the hanging escarpments of the great western rift valley and a home to the most powerful falls in the world;

Arrive in Pakwach / Masindi town for lunch, and head to your lodge for relaxation, and overnight stay.

Day 2. Morning Boat cruise & Hiking to top of the falls

After an early morning cup of tea at the lodge, proceed to Paraa jetty to catch up with a morning boat cruise.

The boat cruise avails you with opportunities to encounter numerous birds, terrestrial and aquatic species such as the Nile Crocodiles, Hippos and the elusive shoebill stork not forgetting other wild game that quench their thirst from the Nile waters during sunny afternoons. The stretch to the bottom of the falls and the eventual hike to the top of the falls soon you are exposed to the thunderous roar of the waters of the Nile, arguably the longest river in the world where it squeezes its self to penetrate through a less than 8m gorge forming a rapid drop of spray marked by a trade mark rain bow as it plunges 43m below to what has been termed as the Devil’s Cauldron. Retire from this rather interesting 3 hour activity for relaxation, dinner and overnight at your residence.

Day 3: Morning breakfast and transfer to Kampala      

After a hearty morning cup of warm of tea, you prepare to embark on the drive back to Kampala, a journey of 305 kilometers but full of interesting stuff that will keep you awake throughout the entire duration of the drive. You will have a lunch break en route as you proceed to Kampala and proceed to your lodge for relaxation and overnight to mark the end of the trip.
